Lt. Gen. Yakovac retired from the United States Army in 2007, concluding 30 years of military service. His last assignment was Director of the Army Acquisition Corps and Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology. In those roles, Lt. Gen. Yakovac managed a dedicated team of military and civilian acquisition experts to make sure America’s soldiers received state-of-the-art critical systems and support across a full spectrum of Army operations. He also provided critical military insight to the Department of Defense senior civilian leadership on acquisition management, technological infrastructure development, and systems management.

Mr.  John Sharman is an experienced executive and supply chain professional with over 30 years of experience. He is currently President and CEO of Sharman Consulting Group.  Mr. Sharman has held numerous senior executive positions in recent years, including Executive Vice President with a boutique consulting firm and President and CEO of a software company.  Mr. Sharman received his training while helping IBM build a world class management consulting organization.  He was a global practice leader with IBM and led a team of over a 1,000 global resources. He was been recently been recognized as a “Supply Chain Professional To Know” by Supply/Demand Chain Magazine. He has extensive industry supply chain experience, as well as years of consulting experience.  Mr. Sharman is a very experienced industry conference speaker. He has done consulting work with many Fortune 100 companies. 

John is a dynamic leader/ trainer/ facilitator with over 14 years of experience consulting in various business segments and the U.S. government.  He served as a career military officer for 26 years in assignments alternating between operations and training. His experience as a facilitator/ trainer spans virtually every major industry including manufacturing, financial services, communications and the U.S. Government.  John retired from the U.S. Army as a colonel.  He has a B.S. from The United States Military Academy, an M.B.A. from The Yale School of Management, and was a National Security Fellow, Harvard University.

Mr. Punelli is an Operating Partner Thayer Bancroft Equity Partners. His focus is to develop and execute the strategy for portfolio acquisitions in the defense and security markets.  Prior to this he had over twenty years experience in C-level, Director and VP roles in a variety of industries: electronics manufacturing, communication infrastructure, technical service, logistics and supply chain.  Most recently, as the COO of a defense contractor, Mr. Punelli was responsible for his company winning several major contract awards including a $1.2 billion Prime Vendor contract with the Defense Logistics Agency.  He has been instrumental in the success of three acquisitions, an IPO and a merger with a global international firm.  His career expertise has been with high-growth companies in niche markets where his sound strategy and nimble transformations have proven very successful. Prior to his business career, Mr. Punelli served five years as a Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Punelli has an Master of Arts in Business Administration from Webster University; and a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

Work history includes teaching computer science, practicle application, and consultant to Microsoft. Current focus is web design, organic search strategies and placement.
